Submitting a will application
Before downloading this form and completing it, please note that you will need to have with you all the relevant information. These include the following:
- Details like dates of births and addresses of close members of your family,
- Mortgage Provider name, Bank/Building Society Name,
- Business information (if any),
- Life Insurance, Pension details and Trusts details
In the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Personal Data is defined as “…any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”); an identifiable person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that person.”
Our Privacy Policy outlines how we will collect and use your data. This is done so that we can:
- Communicate with you
- Take your instructions
- Show you drafts of our work
- Finalise and send to you Original documents
- Continue to service your needs
- Store documents for you
In order for us to do any of the above, we must collect and store your data firstly for correspondence purposes. We will ensure that the information collected will only be used for its intended purpose and does not constitute an invasion of your privacy.
We will use the information that you give us to provide you with the services as per your instructions. We will keep your information confidential and will only use it for the purpose(s) for which it was provided as is permitted in law.
We will only hold your information for as necessary to provide you with the services of drafting your Will. After this time, we will confidentially destroy all information that we hold about you on this application form. We will, should you want us to, keep a copy of your Will on our secure system. We are in the process of setting up a unique username and password for you so that you can have access to it online. This would be visible only to you. Inshallah, this will be coming soon.
